Coming Soon: Liuteria Frignani "1910 Manuel Ramírez" Guitar
A new guitar by Liuteria Frignani is coming soon to GSI. It's their "1910 Manuel Ramírez" model made with aged finish and a 640 mm scale length.
Liuteria Frignani is the family workshop of master luthier Lorenzo Frignani and his son Eugenio, who joined the business more recently and brought a commercial eye to complement his father's decades at the bench. Their "1910 Manuel Ramírez" model is a close study of an original 1910 Ramírez guitar in Lorenzo's own personal collection, built to match its proportions, thicknesses, and aesthetic details, right down to the head shape, rosette, and inlays. The main construction takes place in Spain, in the hands of veteran luthiers carrying on the old Picado workshop tradition, and the guitar then travels back to Italy for final assembly, setup, and finishing in the Frignani shop.
