Kenneth Brogger and The Story Behind Acquiring An 1890 Antonio de Torres guitar.

In 2018, David Collett and JohnPaul Trotter flew to Germany to attend Europe's largest musical equipment trade fair - MusikMesse in Frankfurt. Over there, they met up with many luthiers and released a two-part video recorded in collaboration with our friends from Open Strings Berlin, Nicolas, and Hendrick. Recently, David found a few shorter video clips on his computer that we've never published before. Here is the first video. It features David's interview with guitar maker Kenneth Brogger, who briefly discusses the story behind acquiring an 1890 Antonio de Torres guitar. Having the original guitar, allowed Kenneth to study this instrument in detail and build excellent replicas of that very guitar.
