Watch Taso Comanescu playing Scarlatti, Torroba and more!

We have for you some new videos of our friend and a GSI veteran, Taso Comanescu. Taso is a phenomenal player and we’re always impressed by his ability to develop an individual approach to each guitar only after a few minutes of warming up on them!

As many of you remember, recently we published a set of Preludes by Manuel María Ponce performed by Taso on four fantastic guitars. This time Taso recorded with us Domenico Scarlatti’s “Sonata in A Major, K. 322” and David Russell’s arrangement of a traditional Irish slip jig “Spatter the Dew” on a 2020 Richard Reynoso. Taso also recorded “My Gentle Harp” by Thomas Moore on a 2020 Bastien Burlot “Alkemia-Paris”, “Burgalesa” by Federico Moreno Torroba on a 2020 Youri Soroka.
