William Kanengiser plays 2018 Ariel Ameijenda

In addition to touring extensively as a soloist and being a member of LAGQ, William Kanengiser happens to have taught many of the players who have come in to shoot videos for us over the years, so it was a real pleasure to finally have him come in to shoot some videos himself. He came in in part to play a guitar made by his friend, the Uruguayan luthier Ariel Ameijenda, who had just delivered this beautiful guitar in cedar and Uruguayan blackwood. Fittingly, his first video on the guitar is of a ‘Microestudio’ by Abel Carlevaro, the great Uruguayan guitarist and composer.
