Omni On-Location: Anton Baranov performs music by Lyadov, Gluck and Mertz

The Omni Foundation for the Performing Arts released a special video on Easter Sunday. It's a video of the 2013 GFA winner, Anton Baranov. Baranov is not only a winner of 20 other prestigeous competitions, but also a recording artist who has released albums with Naxos Classical and Contreras Records.

In this new video, Anton Baranov performs music by Christoph Willibald Gluck (1714-1787), Anatoly Lyadov (1855-1914), and Johann Kaspar Mertz (1806-1856). All pieces were recorded on a replica of a Rene Lacote guitar. The video was shot in a baroque church Biserica Piaristă in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
