David Collett in Taiwan

GSI President David Collett made a trip to Taiwan last week and was warmly received by the Hsinchu Guitar Friends, a guitar club based near Taiwan’s capital, Taipei. He gave a presentation to the club on the history of the classical guitar, and afterward many great players performed for the audience, including an especially gifted performer by the name of Way Lee, who we’ve invited to come to GSI in 2015 to record some videos. Many members brought instruments, which included a variety of collectibles and even some fine locally-made guitars. During Dave’s stay, he was able to enjoy some of the scenic city views and spend some fun time with his new Taiwanese friends. Check out some of the photos from David’s trip to Taiwan below.
