New Free Guitar Textbook on TeacherNet: “Guitar for Young Masters” by Artiom Galuza
We’re happy to share a wonderful new resource now available for free on TeacherNet: Guitar for Young Masters, a collection of 30 original pieces written by our good friend, the Belarusian-Polish guitarist, composer, and arranger Artiom Galuza, who is based in Poznań, Poland.
This book is the result of Artiom’s many years of teaching experience in music schools, where he noticed a gap in repertoire for young guitarists. While advanced players have access to a vast library of music, beginners and intermediate students often lack contemporary works that are both engaging and educational. Guitar for Young Masters addresses this need beautifully, offering music that is:
-
Accessible — Written in guitar-friendly keys and scales, making it easier for students to play and enjoy.
-
Structured — Each piece has a clear form, helping young musicians understand phrasing and musical structure.
-
Expressive — With a wide range of moods and characters, the music encourages imagination and interpretation.
The collection is designed for students at various stages of learning. Teachers will appreciate the flexibility it offers—many pieces include easier and more challenging options for selected passages, with helpful guidance provided at the bottom of the page. The book also features detailed left-hand fingerings to support reading and learning new material.
This publication is available in bilingual format—all texts are presented in both English and Polish, making it accessible to broader audience.
As Artiom himself writes, he hopes these pieces will serve not only as valuable educational material but also as a source of inspiration for further musical exploration.
We’re grateful to Artiom for generously making this publication available to the public through GSI's TeacherNet. You can now download Guitar for Young Masters for free directly on TeacherNet and start exploring these pieces with your students.
