Italian Luthier, Luigi Locatto, Makes Another Gorgeous Guitar for GSI

Luigi Locatto, a fantastic guitar maker from Italy, shared with us sneak peek photos of his newest guitar. This guitar is in the final stages of its construction - Luigi is currently applying varnish, so it should be ready for shipment very soon.

Luigi Locatto is not only a great maker but also a guitarist and teacher. His artistry as a luthier has attracted several top collectors who have allowed him access to some of the most valuable instruments in the world. Luigi’s style is rooted in the methods of traditional makers, such as Torres, Simplicio, Garcia, Panormo, Lacote, Fleta, Hauser, and Ramirez, but at the same time, his instruments have power and projection that matches the requirements of modern concert artists.
