Materials include a premium Western red cedar top from his reserve stock, high-grade Indian rosewood for the back and sides, and a mahogany neck with V-joint design, African ebony fingerboard with hidden cocobolo reinforcement. Sound of this instrument is also superb, with a rich, velvety texture to each note. It is also extremely responsive and loose, with plenty of volume for any concert setting. It is also fitted with a 20th fret for repertoire requiring a high c natural, as well as raised fingerboard for more comfortable playability in the upper registers.
