The European Guitar Foundation Releases a Video From This Year's Granada Guitar Festival and Antonio Marin Montero Guitar Building Competition.

The European Guitar Foundation has recently released a video documenting the VI Granada Guitar Festival and the V Antonio Marin Montero Guitar Building Competition.

This year, classical guitar enthusiasts had a chance to attend a total of 27 concerts, masterclasses, and conferences featuring masters of classical and flamenco guitar. The VI edition of the festival was dedicated to two iconic guitarists who had a vast impact on the history and the development of the guitar in Spain - Andres Segovia and Pepe Cuéllar.

The V Antonio Marin Montero Guitar Building Competition is the second event organized by the European Guitar Foundation in Granada. Our GSI president, David Collett, was invited again to be one of the judges of this prestigious competition. The first prize went to a guitar maker from Argentina, Alexis Parducci. A builder from Spain, Miguel Ángel Gutiérrez, received the second prize, and the third prize went to Adrien Savary.
