Submit your video and join the 2nd Virtual Showcase: Featuring Zach Filkins from OneRepublic!

The song “Counting Stars” by OneRepublic is known by almost all of us. Now you’ll have a chance to perform it together with ZACH FILKINS, the guitarist of OneRepublic. Zach Filkins has generously agreed to be a guest performer in the 2nd Classical Guitar Virtual Showcase, mass ensemble play-along hosted by Lead Guitar, GSI Foundation and Córdoba Guitars. The ensemble will feature Zach Filkins as a soloist accompanied by Lead Guitar students from many different states and guitar players from around the world. Join the ensemble and submit your video recording of  “Counting Stars” arranged by Lead Guitar. The deadline for the submission is MAY 15TH. Your video will be edited and featured in the virtual showcase on May 23, 12 PM CST. Stay tuned for more details about the broadcast!

When schools closed, Lead Guitar developed online learning modules for their 4,000 student and teacher participants while Córdoba Guitars and the GSI Foundation began delivering guitars to students who did not have one of their own. On the occasion of the last showcase, we donated over 50 guitars to guitar students in the Chicago area.
