Description

This is a fantastic older peghead flamenco guitar built by Manuel Contreras. Although very-well known for his classical guitars, Contreras made some magnificent flamenco guitars as well, and this one is no exception. Being very lightweight and lively, this guitar is great fun to play, and the sound is pure flamenco. It is focused and snappy with immediate response, although it is still quite expressive. The action and setup are comfortable and fast, perfect for flamenco. As is typical of Contreras, the quality of materials is first-class. The condition is excellent for its age - no repairs, no damage (apart from a string-ding blemish behind the bridge), and only modest signs of use. A great concert-level vintage flamenco at a very affordable price.
