Sasha Radicic was born in Sarajevo, Yugoslavia and started building and repairing guitars in 1980. He spent 6 years living in Munich, Germany where he worked for Musik Hartwig before moving to the USA in 1998, where he settled (and still resides) in St. Louis, Missouri. His guitars are traditionally made and he considers Antonio de Torres, Santos Hernandez, Manuel Ramirez to be his primary role models. This particular guitar from 2004 is set up comfortably with easy playability - the neck is a bit narrower than normal making this effortless to play especially for crossover players who are more accustomed to steel-string or electric guitar necks. It has a K & K pickup installed for amplification - the only external evidence of the pickup is the 1/4 inch endpin jack which can also be used to attach a strap. It has a lovely, traditional Spanish-style sound as an acoustic but also sounds great amplified and would be an ideal gigging guitar for the player needing a concert level instrument that can be easily amplified and played in any musical setting.
