Description

Made entirely by hand at the Manuel Contreras workshop, the N Series guitars are as high as the range goes before reaching the 1a and Double Top models. These concert instruments are now constructed by luthier Jose Antonio Lagunar, who had worked for Manuel Sr. until he passed away, and then under Manuel's son, Pablo Contreras, until his passing in 2011. Jose Antonio is now responsible for building all concert guitars bearing the famous Contreras name.

The N-3 falls in the middle of the N Series range, and is made with a spruce soundboard and Indian rosewood back and sides. Also features a 20th fret to accomodate repertoire needing a high c natural. The sound is classic Contreras - big, bold and full of wild Madrid character.
