ABOUT THE ARTIST: Born in 1961 in Darmstadt, Tilman Hoppstock studied as a cellist and guitarist in Darmstadt and Cologne. Since the 1980s, he has toured extensively throughout Europe, Africa, Asia, North and South America. In addition to his solo work, he is also active as a chamber musician. He teaches at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz and the Academy of Musical Art in Darmstadt.
