Description

No relation to Miguel Rodriguez of Cordoba. This maker is well known for his work with the Jose Ramirez workshop in the early 1950s before establishing his own workshop in Madrid, where this guitar was made. He also worked for several years in Los Angeles before ultimately returning to Spain. His name is now well-known from a successful line of factory-made instruments created by his son. This particular instrument has a very well aged spruce top and beautiful Spanish cypress. The sound is deep and dark. The neck is very slim, perfect for anyone with a small hand. There have been repairs done to some cracks that have developed over the years, which has restored the guitar concert-ready condition. An excellent traditional Spanish guitar with world class materials and workmanship.
