About the artist: Born in Granada in 1975, David Martinez studied at the Conservatory of Music in Granada, the Mozarteum in Vienna and the Hochschule fur Music in Munich. He has won first prizes in numerous international competitions including the Velez Malaga (1997), Andres Segovia de Linares (1997), Villa de Puente Genil (2000), Ciudad de Coria (2001) and Francisco Tarrega, Benicasim (2004). David Martinez has given concerts throughout Spain and toured in Germany, Egypt, Turkey and the United States, as well as performing on national radio and television broadcasts in those countries.
