Guitar Students Stuck at Home Receive Free Córdoba Guitars from the GSI Foundation!

Over the past few months we’ve been sending out multiple shipments of free Córdoba C3M guitars to Lead Guitar students stuck at home without a guitar. We’ve managed to successfully deliver over 50 guitars to students in need. These donations have allowed the students to participate in Lead Guitar virtual showcases and perform with the world’s best guitarists. This week, Lead Guitar shared some wonderful footage with us of the students opening their brand new instruments. We’d like to thank the parents who shared these videos with us. Seeing that our donated instruments are in good hands and bring joy to the students is the biggest reward for our work. Currently, the students are on summer break, but we’re already planning together with Lead Guitar the shows that are going to be presented this Fall. We hope that our work on these broadcasts is going to improve the access and equity to music education. We work closely with both Lead Guitar and Children’s Music Workshop on the plans for the Fall to keep the music alive, especially during these difficult times.
