The Performance Series is the latest line of guitars designed and built in the Hill Guitar workshop. This Performance model is constructed in the traditional Spanish style, with the integral body and neck joint, but incorporates a modern soundboard, with a double-top (spruce exterior, cedar interior) and lattice bracing. It also features dual soundports on the upper bout (side).
This guitar is powerful, allowing for a wide range of color and an extremely expressive dynamic range. The lattice bracing also gives this guitar a very quick response with a strong punch. All in all, an extremely good concert guitar at a great price. This instrument also features a 630mm scale length and more compact body size for the player perhaps with smaller hands or for someone looking for a Torres-sized instrument with a modern sound.
This guitar comes with a hardshell case.
