Description

This guitar takes as its inspiration (largely for structural details) the iconic 1937 Hauser I that was immortalized in the hands of Andres Segovia over several decades of concertizing and recording - the original is now on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. German's Hauser model is perhaps his best well-known, it has been recorded by both John Holmquist and Jason Vieaux for their five Naxos recordings, and won German First Place in the Concurso Nacional de Constructores y Ejecutantes de Guitarras in 2000. The sound quality, craftsmanship and playability of this guitar easily live up to its reputation with ease. Bold, clear, balanced (and with a nice 'overtone' texture thanks to the cedar top), this guitar records and concertizes beautifully.
