2016 Kenny Hill "Performance 640 SP/CD" SP/IN

The Performance Series is the latest line of guitars designed and built in the Hill Guitar workshop. This Performance model is constructed in the traditional Spanish style, with the integral body and neck joint, but incorporates a modern soundboard, with a double-top (spruce exterior, cedar interior) and lattice bracing. It also features dual soundports on the upper bout (side). It also boasts a shorter 640mm string length which is very popular for many players looking for a more compact playing area without loss of sound or volume. This guitar is powerful, allowing for a wide range of color and an extremely expressive dynamic range. The lattice bracing also gives this guitar a very quick response with a strong punch. All in all, an extremely good concert guitar at a great price.

This guitar comes with a hardshell case. It is a used example from 2016 and is in excellent condition with no damage or repairs and only very modest signs of having been previously played. It has an added armrest to reduce wear on the top and sides by the right arm and a 20th fret to accomodate any repertoire needing a high c natural.
