Description

This is a very interesting "modern" guitar with several very innovative design features - all with the intent of maximizing the efficiency of the materials to deliver optimized tone production. For starters, the soundboard is a double-top of two pieces of Italian spruce, with his own, unique "Wave Resonator" bracing system of spruce and carbon fiber lattices intended to increase the vibrating surface area (notably there is no lower harmonic bar as well). This is aided also by the use of a smaller size bridge size which reduces mass and allows for more effortless soundboard movement. Additionally the back is sculpted like a violin into a parabolic form and inlayed internally with a 2nd piece of wood using a system he calls his "high-tech press", again with the aim of improving both projection and sustain. Moving on to the fingerboard - which is not just "elevated" for easier playability in the upper registers, but also fitted with his patented "acoustic tube" system installed below the fingerboard and above the 12th fret which his research suggests provides a noticeable increase in sustain.

Although used, the condition of the guitar is excellent - apart from some minor, superficial playing marks on the top, it is has no other issues. A 2nd saddle is included to accomodate a lower or higher action depending on the preference of the player. A custom case designed for Turkowiak guitars is included with the guitar as well as a Certificate of Authenticity and Warranty Card from the luthier.
