Description

For over half a century, the name of Jose Ramirez is perhaps the most recognized to classical and flamenco guitar aficionados. Ramirez instruments have been performed on by countless professionals from Sting to Segovia, Chet Atkins to Sabicas and Lee Ritenour to Christopher Parkening.

The limited-edition "Vino" line from Ramirez celebrates the shared and storied history of Spanish guitars and wines. The Vino Studio model features a cedar soundboard, coral sides (padauk), and three-piece back made with alternating strips of coral and oak (used for wine barrels). Rosette features a mosaic of grapes, which is also found on the bridge tie-block. The Vino guitars signify the alliance of two important pillars of Spanish culture that give pleasure to the senses: touch, sight, taste, smell, hearing and even exalting the spirit through music. This is a tribute to the art history that is deeply rooted in today’s Spanish culture.
