2022 Teodoro Perez "Especial" CD/BL

The "Especial" is the top model from the Perez shop, and offers the absolute best in terms of decoration and materials. The sound is very distinctly Spanish, with a full, romantic tone and quick attack. There is plenty of warmth, clarity and volume for any situation, while retaining exceptional playability. Volume is also exceptional, even by "Madrid school" standards. It also features more elaborate detail work, including additional purfling and inlay. The materials selected for this model are always top-notch, but with this particular instrument, it features a gorgeous and exotic-looking set of Brazilian Lacewood for the back and sides which is simply stunning with it's lava lamp-like 3D texture and amber hue. Simply put, this is a fantastic top-level concert guitar by any standard.
