Description

This guitar takes as its inspiration (largely for structural details) the iconic 1937 Hauser I that was immortalized in the hands of Andres Segovia over several decades of concertizing and recording - the original is now on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. German's Hauser model is perhaps his best well-known, it has been recorded by both John Holmquist and Jason Vieaux for their five Naxos recordings, and won German First Place in the Concurso Nacional de Constructores y Ejecutantes de Guitarras in 2000. The sound quality, craftsmanship and playability of this guitar easily live up to its reputation with ease. Materials are first class including a gorgeous set of Indian rosewood for the back that almost looks like a nice set of CSA rosewood. Bold, clear, balanced, this guitar records and concertizes beautifully. Condition is excellent with only very minor signs of prior use and it is fitted with Rodgers tuners. Top example by this very respected maker.
