Description

A stunning and very authentic reproduction of the famous 1937 Hermann Hauser I guitar of Andres Segovia (now residing in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City). Kenny Hill's construction is based on the blueprints of this original Hauser, documented by R.E. Brune. All details are meticulously reproduced, including dimensions and thicknesses, internal bracing patterns, and a host of other features, including the famous Hauser "V-joint" behind the head, and in the inlay work, including rosette and head veneer. Sound is crystal-clear and the balance is like that of a piano - these are famous traits found in original Hauser guitars. All in all, this "Hauser '37" model is a wonderful tribute to the instrument which Segovia called "the greatest guitar of our epoch".
