Description

This guitar is the very first built in 2013 by the youngest "guitar personality" of the great Romero family. Bernardo started construction of this instrument in Granada, Spain with the assistance and watchful eye of Juan Miguel Carmona, then brought it mid-way through the build process back to San Diego, CA where he completed it with his uncle, Pepe Romero Jr. - both makers credited on the label. Not surprisingly, it has features of both the Granada school and of the Rodriguez/Santos influence of his uncles guitars. It boasts a big, bold sound, wide and full across all registers. The overtone content is rich yet controlled so that the fundamental remains very focused at the core of every note. Separation is excellent, attack is immediate and yet it also has great balanced sustain. Although used guitar, it is in excellent condition with only minor wear in the finish.
