Italian luthier, Gerardo Centonze, Builds His Second Guitar for GSI

Italian luthier Gerardo Centonze has shared sneak peek photos of his second guitar built for GSI. This new instrument features a spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides.

We first met Gerardo at the sixth Antonio Marin Montero Guitar Building Competition in 2023 in Granada, Spain, where he won third prize in this prestigious event. Additionally, he was featured in our on-location video series with D'Addario, showcasing his first guitar featured in our shop. Gerardo's building philosophy is primarily inspired by traditional Spanish models, which influence most of his structural considerations.
