Description

This guitar was built in the famous Jose Ramirez workshop, which for over half a century has produced instruments performed on by countless professionals from Sting to Segovia, Chet Atkins to Sabicas and Lee Ritenour to Christopher Parkening.

This model is the famously designated "1a", which stands for "primera" in Spanish, and means "1st" or "highest" quality. The 1a Traditional represents top quality in workmanship, detail and choice of wood. This model features a particularly striking and beautiful set of rosewood for the back and sides. It has one of their their classic rosettes and purfling which are absolutely stunning. It has all the color and warmth that is normally associated with a great classic Ramirez. For attention to detail, quality of construction and sound, this is a first-class instrument.

Note: Since these photos have been taken, a small "ding" behind the bridge occurred while changing strings and has been discounted to take this into account. It is in otherwise "mint" condition. Please contact us with any questions.
