Description

A fine example by this well-known German builder, it was built in Freiburg, Germany after he moved back from Toronto, Canada. John Williams played one of these guitars as a boy and early in his career and Segovia had one as well that he used for his daily practice. This particular guitar is very lightweight, and sounds and plays a bit like a Hauser II from this same period. It has a very charming sound, and would make an excellent recording instrument. The top is in cedar, so it has a particularly warm, and very "broad" quality to the tone. Playability is superb with easy action and a very smooth neck.
