Description
This 1999 is an absolutely stunning example of Sahlin's finest work. Rich, clean and incredibly powerful, the tone projects with great separation and color. As is evident in the aesthetic details, Sahlin's craftsmanship is second to none, and features elegant and understated use of mother of pearl inlay, veneers and purfling throughout the instrument. The CSA rosewood is old, stable and beautiful, and the spruce soundboard is full of silking and cross-grain. A truly incredible concert instrument in every regard.Orfeo Magazine No. 10 - West Coast Luthiers
