Description
This instrument from 2004 is made from cypress for the back and sides, and cedar for the soundboard. It is a true flamenco with an authentic gypsy sound which is bright and punchy with great clarity and bite. Ottmar Liebert performs on this exact model. Workmanship is phenomenal - to truly appreciate the perfection of the craftsmanship, it almost requires viewing with a microscope! The elegant and minimalistic use of mother-of-pearl in the headstock, rosette and tie-block give the guitar a unique and beautiful aesthetic. Also includes the Vizcarra friction pegs which look like traditional wooden pegs but actually use a machine mechanism to stay in tune. With its excellent condition, sound, playability and rarity, this tremendous flamenco is simply a dream guitar.Orfeo Magazine No. 10 - West Coast Luthiers
