Description

This is a great Fleta from 1992 whose first (and only) owner to date was Angel Romero. After it was built, Gabriel and Francisco Fleta named it "La Princesa" as part of its dedication to Angel - see the video below to hear how Angel recounts the story. This particular Fleta has all the elements that one could possibly want from one of their top examples - tremendous power, perfect balance, deep warm tone and ample clarity between voices in all registers. This guitar exhibits these qualities with great, bold style and it only takes a matter of seconds when playing this guitar to understand why Angel had to have it upon first encountering it himself.

Over the last half century, scores of the finest players in the world have played these instruments - not just Angel Romero (and other members of the Romero family) but also such names as Andres Segovia, John Williams, Turibio Santos, Alirio Diaz and Marcelo Kayath, among others. This is an extremely powerful and bold Fleta from a great period, very desirable to both the collector and performer alike for its great sound and provenance.
