From one of the most important builders of the 20th century, this guitar represents Friederich at his absolute best. Apart from normal superficial playing wear, including some benign scratches and dings, this guitar is in excellent, original condition. It has no cracks, no damage and no repairs. The tone is like soft, fine silk, with controlled and balanced layers of overtones stacked on the crystal-clear fundamental. It has an almost cathedral-like presence, which gives it plenty of power for any concert hall – it has more power than a typical Friederich - a true “concert grand” of a guitar.
