From one of the most important builders of the 20th century, this guitar represents Daniel Friederich at his absolute best. The tone is like soft, fine silk, with controlled and balanced layers of overtones stacked on the crystal-clear fundamental. Many have commented that the sound is "creamy" or "chocolaty". In any case it intoxicating to player and listener alike. It has an almost cathedral-like presence, which gives it plenty of power for any concert hall – it has more power than a typical Friederich - a true "concert grand" of a guitar.
