Coming Soon: A New Guitar by Carlos Juan Busquiel with an Updated Rosette Design
We've received some sneak peek photos of our newest guitar built by Spanish luthier Carlos Juan Busquiel. Carlos is a talented luthier based in Petrer, a town located in Alicante, Spain. While working as a luthier, he had the good fortune to evaluate many different instruments built by master makers such as Vicente Arias, Jose and Manuel Ramirez, Santos Hernandez, Enrique Garcia, Francisco Simplicio, and others. Being exposed to these instruments has been decisive in the development of his personal style.
Carlos' newest guitar has a slightly updated rosette. The central mosaic is based on Enrique Garcia's designs, combined with some herringbone and purfling elements known from his previous guitars. Additionally, the materials are of very high quality. The soundboard is made of a beautiful piece of spruce, while the back and sides are made of African rosewood.
We expect this guitar to arrive in our store within the next week, so don't hesitate to reach out to us if you are interested in this instrument!
