Alan Mearns Performs Nana — New Album "Lorca" Now Available!

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! What better way to mark the occasion than with a new video performance by Alan Mearns, filmed quite fittingly with a giant heart glowing behind him.

This new release features Alan’s own guitar arrangement of "Nana" by Manuel de Falla, taken from his newly released album "Lorca."

A Tribute to Lorca

Nana is part of Lorca, Alan’s deeply personal album dedicated to Federico García Lorca, the legendary Andalusian poet whose life and work remain closely intertwined with Spanish music. Lorca’s artistic relationship with de Falla—built on mentorship, collaboration, and shared cultural roots—forms an important backdrop to this repertoire. Alan’s arrangement brings Nana into the guitar’s voice with clarity and restraint, staying close to the song’s intimate character.
