A New Julia Wenzel Guitar with Cedar Top and CSA Rosewood Back and Sides

German luthier Julia Wenzel is putting the final touches on a gorgeous new guitar for our store, this time built with a lighter cedar top and a striking set of CSA rosewood for the back and sides. Julia, who earned second prize at the 2017 Antonio Marin Montero Guitar Building Competition in Granada, Spain, is known for her dedication to the traditional Spanish style, often drawing inspiration from the iconic guitars of Miguel Rodriguez from the 1960s.

Julia was recently featured in our on-location video series produced in collaboration with D’Addario, where her exceptional craftsmanship took center stage. We’re looking forward to welcoming this guitar to our showroom soon.
