New Julia Wenzel Guitar Is Coming Soon to GSI!

German luthier Julia Wenzel is putting the final touches on a beautiful new guitar for our store. Julia, who won second prize at the 2017 Antonio Marin Montero Guitar Building Competition in Granada, Spain, is renowned for crafting guitars in the traditional Spanish style, evoking the vintage charm of the 1960s Miguel Rodriguez instruments.

This new guitar features a spruce soundboard paired with a stunning set of ziricote used for the back and sides. Julia also featured a different rosette pattern for this instrument.

Recently, Julia was featured in our on-location video series produced in collaboration with D'Addario, further highlighting her incredible craftsmanship. We can’t wait to have this guitar in our showroom!
