Two Prize-Winning Guitars by Manuel Arango Coming Soon to GSI

Two guitars by Swiss luthier Manuel Arango, both awarded at the VIII Antonio Marín Montero Guitar Building Competition in Granada, Spain, will soon arrive at GSI. Manuel won first prize in the Classical Guitar category and second prize in the Flamenco Guitar category — an impressive achievement that highlights his growing reputation in the world of lutherie.

We had a chance to see both guitars during the competition, and they stood out for their craftsmanship and clear roots in the Spanish guitar-making tradition. The flamenco guitar, shown in the gallery below, will have a tap plate added before shipment.
