COMING SOON: New "Cosmic" Marc Dickinson Guitar is Coming Soon to GSI!

Marc Dickinson’s guitars are infused with a cosmic theme inspired by his passion for astronomy and astrophotography. It's also worth mentioning that Marc holds a PhD in physics. His background in science is visible from the rosette to the bindings. His rosette design is inspired by the globular cluster Messier 13, a star cluster that Marc photographed himself. The bindings, which Marc refers to as “diffraction lines,” are influenced by the breathtaking images from the James Webb Space Telescope. These elements tie into Marc’s broader vision of blending celestial imagery with the classical guitar.

While the guitar’s visual elements are striking, its construction stays true to traditional methods. This upcoming guitar will feature a spruce top with a 7-fan Hauser/Torres-style bracing system. Marc also incorporates laminated sides and linings to enhance stiffness and sustain, enhancing both sustain and volume, particularly on the top strings.
