David Collett Visits the Teodoro Pérez Workshop
Recently, GSI president David Collett traveled to Spain to serve once again as a judge at the Antonio Marín Montero Guitar Building Competition in Granada. On this occasion, he also made a stop in Madrid to visit the workshop of renowned luthier Teodoro Pérez.
While in Madrid, David spent time with the Pérez family, and personally selected woods for several upcoming GSI guitars. The Pérez workshop has long been celebrated for its deep tradition and craftsmanship.
To share the experience, David recorded a series of videos from the visit. In addition to Teodoro and Sergio Perez, in the video you can also see luthier Marco Tejeda - Teodoro's son-in-law. Check out the first video below and get a glimpse of the wonderful and friendly atmosphere where luthiers in the Teodoro Perez workshop make their instruments.
Stay tuned for the next parts in this series!
