Guitar for Young Masters, Part 2: A New Free Resource on TeacherNet from Artiom Galuza
We're happy to share some exciting news for guitar teachers and their students: Part 2 of Guitar for Young Masters is now available, free to download on TeacherNet.
Written by our good friend, the Belarusian-Polish guitarist, composer, and arranger Artiom Galuza, this new volume continues the work he began with Part 1, released last year. That first book quickly became a favorite among teachers looking for fresh, engaging repertoire for young and developing guitarists, and Artiom has returned with a new set of pieces in the same spirit.
Guitar for Young Masters grew out of Artiom's years of teaching experience in music schools, where he noticed a real gap in the repertoire available to beginner and intermediate students. While advanced players can draw from a vast library of music, younger guitarists often have far fewer contemporary, age-appropriate options that are both fun to play and genuinely educational. Part 2 builds on that mission, offering music that is:
- Accessible — written in guitar-friendly keys and positions, so students can enjoy playing from the very first read-through
- Structured — each piece has a clear form, helping young musicians build an understanding of phrasing and musical structure
- Expressive — a wide range of moods and characters that invite imagination and interpretation
As with Part 1, teachers will find the collection flexible enough to use across different stages of learning, with guidance built in to support students as they progress.
