Guitar With Friends Returns July 26 at Guitar Salon International

Join us on Saturday, July 26 for another Guitar With Friends event at Guitar Salon International in Santa Monica—a welcoming afternoon dedicated to learning, performing, and building community through music.

The event begins with a free performance workshop from 2:00–3:00 PM, led by GSI Head Guitar Instructor Ashley Lucero, DMA. Funded by the GSI Foundation, this masterclass-style session offers individualized feedback designed to help guitarists develop confidence and stronger performance skills. Whether you're a current student, former student, or someone interested in studying guitar, this workshop provides a supportive environment to grow as a musician.

Immediately following the workshop, the event opens into a free public performance gathering where everyone is encouraged to play. You don't need to be a GSI student to participate, and you don't have to perform classical music—players of all styles are welcome. Whether you'd like to share a favorite piece, try out something new, or simply listen and connect with other musicians, there's a place for you.

To make the afternoon even more enjoyable, free food and drinks will be available for everyone attending.

While admission is completely free, donations to the GSI Foundation are warmly appreciated. The Foundation supports music education initiatives and helps make community events like Guitar With Friends possible.
