Omni On-Location: Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s "Aria Op. 146" in Solofra, Italy

The Omni Foundation for the Performing Arts has recently released a new video with the recording of Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco's "Aria Op. 146" from Concerto da Camera in a version for guitar, oboe, and cello.

Filmed on location at the scenic Santuario di Santa Maria Assunta in Cielo in Solofra, Italy, the video captures one of Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s late works. Guitarist Giovanni Masi, oboist Elena Branno, and cellist Raffaella Cardaropoli deliver a captivating performance highlighting this rarely performed, yet very beautiful gem by Castelnuovo-Tedesco.
