Uruguayan maker, Ariel Ameijenda, Builds His Next "Confessional" Guitar For GSI
We've received some sneak peek photos of our next guitar from Uruguayan maker, Ariel Ameijenda. This will be our fifth guitar for which Ariel used his stock of CSA rosewood salvaged from an old confessional from a very old church in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This time, Ariel used the "confessional" wood for the central strip, the bridge, and the head veneer. For the other parts of the back and sides, Ariel used Indian rosewood. The Alerce top comes from an old stock that belonged to Ariel's father, Manuel Ameijenda. Check out the photos below and don't hesitate to reach out to us with questions!
