Valerio Licari and His New Rosette Inspired By The Pantheon!
Italian luthier, Valerio Licari, has shared with us a few photos of his newest guitar built for GSI.
Even though Valerio builds guitars based on a traditional Spanish structural design, the aesthetic details are drawn from his Italian roots. His previous guitars had their decorative motives based on the "Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore" in Florence - one of the most iconic Italian landmarks. Valerio's newest guitar built for us will be a little different. Valerio found inspiration for his new aesthetic details in the Pantheon, one of the ancient Roman architectural wonders.
Check out the sneak peek photos below. This is going to be a cedar top guitar and should be ready in the next few weeks. Don't hesitate to reach out to us with questions!
