1992 Fritz Ober & Edmund Blochinger Concert German Spruce Brazilian rosewood

Single owner. This guitar is one amazing instrument! It is easy to play. It has a rich, beautiful tone. And the sound is crystal clear. I’ve always used a static plastic protector to minimize any rasqueado fingernail damage to the top, though there are still a couple of slight “love marks.” I’ve also always used a chamois covering the back and top side to protect it from button scratches and sweat when playing. I’ve used this instrument in concerts around much of the world and for performing with orchestras without amplification. Made in Munich, Germany, it has a German spruce soundboard and top-grade Brazilian rosewood sides and back. The fingerboard is ebony, and the tuners are made by Rieschl in Germany. Ober & Blochinger were two of the great contemporary makers of the classical guitar. Fritz Ober unfortunately passed away recently, and Edmund Blochinger continues to build top-quality guitars to this day. Their instruments are very sought after. This instrument is made of top-grade materials, and their craftsmanship is superb. The sound is very focused and powerful enough to fill any concert hall.
