2013 GFA Convention and Competition

The 2013 GFA convention and competition starts in just a week (it runs June 25-30) in Louisville, KY, and this year marks the GFA’s 40th year, too. In addition to the competition there will be performances and workshops by artists like Aniello Desiderio, Scott Tennant, Marcin Dylla, Eliot Fisk, Berta Rojas with Paquito D’Rivera, Michael Chapdelain, Zoran Dukic and many more. Our friend Scott Wolf will be interviewing many of the artists for his All Strings Considered podcast, so I’m sure we’ll get a good report on some of the activities there this year.
