Celebrating 80 Years of Pepe Romero: A Musical Journey
As we celebrate this milestone birthday, let us take a moment to reflect on the remarkable journey of this extraordinary musician. Pepe Romero was born on March 8th, 1944, in Málaga, Spain to what we now call "The Royal Family of Classical Guitar". Together with his father, Celedonio Romero, and his brothers, Angel and Celin, they established The Romeros Guitar Quartet. The rest is history!
In honor of Pepe's 80th birthday, we are thrilled to share with you a special performance of "Diálogos entre guitarra y orquesta" by Federico Moreno Torroba, which Pepe released on his YouTube channel in celebration of his birthday.
